Riverdreaming Journey

Several months spent in Pakistan and India finding the places of my imagination north of a line roughly from Lahore to Lucknow. There the Himalayas began writing a poem in my head ...

and who will then turn the wheels of tibet?
or string wind-horses across and empty sky?
every landscape needs a lama.....

... and I began working on a series of eight paintings which became the "Free Tibet" series.
